I am a self-proclaimed Save Money King! Everything I do revolves around saving money. My name is not important. What is important is that you become your own save money king. Here are three steps you can take right now to become the save money king you want to be:
1. Know what’s really important to spend money on. Even though I’m big on spending money, I’m not completely against spending money. After all, things of this earth are meant to be enjoyed. You just have to be careful to choose those select few things that you really don’t want to skimp on.
2. Recognize where your money really is going. It sounds like a tedious, boring, “accountant-like” thing to do, but to be a true save money king, you need to create a spreadsheet and identify where your money is going. I do this quarterly and last time I found a receipt on one of my credit cards that was taking out $6 a month for some porn site! Fortunately it was only two months, but watching where your money is going has got to be a priority because you never know what costs might sneak their way into your life.
3. Change your mind-set. Make it a priority to always seek ways to spend less. A true money king wants to know what’s new in the land of saving money. And that is the exact reason for the production of this blog.
