Sue Dickinson was on the hunt for a reasonable but accurate GPS system to use in her job with Colorado senior insurance products.
I’d seen a number of different varieties used by fellow agents and friends, and narrowed my choice down to a Garmin.
This purchase changed my life. I decided to save the money and go for the refurbished version. I used my
savings to buy the beanbag stand that sits on your dashboard so I wouldn’t have to install the suction cup
mount.
The female voice is quite annoying, so I quickly learned how to change to a male voice and named my GPS Beau. I
figured if I’m going to spend my day driving around in my car I may as well spend it with a guy who actually knows
where he’s going and is not afraid to ask for, well, give directions!
No more trying to read a computer generating map while driving or trying to “guess” my way around the city. The
Garmin gives clear directions with plenty of time to spare and gives the street name, which not all GPS systems do.
The beanbag stand makes it simple to see the screen while keeping my eyes on the road and easy to tuck everything
into the glove compartment and erase any sign that I have a GPS, a safety feature I really like.
All in all I highly recommend this product to anyone wanting a reasonable GPS without giving up the quality
features.
